5. How does AI mode work?

Ask your question in your natural language style. The AI tool will complete its tasks in the following order.

Step 1: Check relevance.
If the question relates to tax in Ireland, it will proceed to step 2. If it’s not relevant, a message appears and the user is prompted to reword the question.

Step 2: Generate keywords for a search.
TaxFind uses these keywords to run a search in the TaxFind database to find up to 10 relevant documents.

Step 3: Read content and summarise.
TaxFind reads the content of these documents and summarises them, relating the document content to the original question asked.

Step 4: Display summary with linked references.
TaxFind displays the summary along with a results tab listing the documents used with referenced hyperlinks.

If you feel your question has not been answered, you can ask a follow-up question in the same conversation. If you wish to ask a different question in AI mode, you can start a new thread.

6. Are there usage limits on AI mode?

Yes. In accordance with our sustainability commitments, AI token usage limits have been set. If you are notified of reaching this limit, please contact Evelyn Delehanty at edelehanty@taxinstitute.ie.

7. How can I get access to AI mode?

The beta AI mode is available to existing TaxFind subscribers only prior to renewals on 1 September. Please contact Evelyn Delehanty at edelehanty@taxinstitute.ie for more information.
