  • Assist with the administration of the student appeals process in-line with approved regulations.

Course coordination

  • Manage the academic calendar for assigned courses, including scheduling lectures and liaising with lecturers and facilitators.
  • Monitor lecture delivery and gather, collate and maintain relevant data and feedback.
  • Prepare accurate student attendance reports, including reports required by employer firms.

Systems, content and data management

  • Update and maintain course information, including timetables, content on the Institute’s learning management system (Blackboard) and relevant sections of the Institute website.
  • Work with authors and editors to coordinate updates to student manuals, manage version control and ensure materials are delivered according to agreed schedules.

Stakeholder and contributor management

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with lecturers, authors, external suppliers and other education stakeholders.
  • Prepare contracts for lecturers and authors, and manage the preparation of monthly payment schedules for contributors.

Assessment and team support

  • Support the assessment team with key aspects of online exam delivery, including registration, administration and release of results.
  • Keep up to date with developments in education technology and platforms relevant to the role.
  • Attend regular team meetings to coordinate and plan course administration activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and streamlining of education administration processes.
  • Assist with coordination of promotional activities such as careers fairs, competitions, scholarships and processing of prizes.
  • Assist with such other related responsibilities as determined by the Education Operations Manager, including taking full responsibility for certain aspects of course delivery.
