Add to your Skillset with a Professional Tax Qualification

As tax affects everyone, whether directly or indirectly, there is constant demand for expertise in the area. Become an expert in Tax Advisory or learn the fundamentals of tax with our Summer 2026 professional tax qualifications. The programmes offer flexible learning and access to best-in-class materials to support your learning.

We’re delighted to announce that registration is now open for two of our qualifications: the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and the Tax Technician.

Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) – Become an Expert in Tax Advisory

Recognised as the leading tax advisory qualification in Ireland, the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) programme is designed for individuals who aspire to pursue and excel in a career in Tax Advisory. You can be a graduate at the start your career or an experienced professional who encounters tax-related issues regularly.

The programme blends technical expertise with practical advisory skills, ensuring you can navigate complex tax issues with confidence. The curriculum is built to equip you with the tools needed for decision making and advising clients. Sam Totterdell, a recently qualified CTA, said on Tax Talk,

[The CTA programme] is really practical. It is not one of these far-fetched things different from what you do every day. It is exactly what you’re doing every day. And it’s really helpful to have that background and go ‘oh this is what I do in work. This is how I show it in my exams.’ So they are challenging but they are really a practical set of exams”.

If you want to become a trusted business adviser and be at the centre of client relationships, this online tax advisory qualification will get you there. Learn more and register for the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) programme.

Tax Technician – Learn the Fundamentals of Tax

Perfect for those working in compliance and encountering tax or people returning to work, the Tax Technician qualification provides a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of Irish tax. Covering income tax, VAT, corporation tax and capital taxes, this course gives students the confidence to handle day to day tax matters with accuracy.

It’s the ideal starting point for school leavers, career changers or compliance professionals to develop practical, job ready tax skills. It also allows great flexibility with its modular structure and online lectures.

Explore and register for the Tax Technician qualification.
