Brian Brennan
Brian is Deputy President of the Irish Tax Institute and a Tax Partner in KPMG Ireland. He advises a wide range of clients, both domestic and international, on cross border mergers and acquisitions, aviation financing, leasing, banking, structured finance and tax-based fundraising. He has particular experience in advising on international financing and leasing structures and the operation of tax treaties.
Brian has significant experience of leading large multi-country teams in delivering tax advice to his clients, including leading international tax teams on large scale mergers and acquisitions transactions. Brian is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).

Ian Collins
Ian is Vice President of the Irish Tax Institute (ITI) and Partner & Head of the National Innovation Incentives tax practice at EY in Ireland with responsibility for overall management and quality assurance of Irish R&D, Knowledge Development Box, capital allowances, and Digital Games tax credit claims.
Ian is a founding member of EY’s Global Incentives network, and heads up a team of engineers, scientists and tax professionals. He is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Ian conducts training seminars and workshops on these various incentive regimes, and acts as tutor/speaker for the Irish Tax Institute including at the Annual Conference. Ian serves on the Council of the ITI and on the ITI Taxation Policy and Technical Committee.

Patrick is part of the project team with responsibility for the development of the new Enhanced Compliance Engagement (‘ECE’) framework for HWIs.

Diarmuid Farrelly, Principal Officer, Collector General’s Division, is responsible at the Principal Officer level for implementing Budget and Finance Act updates to the Excise systems and Business Tax systems (income tax, corporation tax, and CGT), updating Revenue's online services, and the provision of supporting information to taxpayers.

Stephen Gahan
Stephen is a Tax Partner with Forvis Mazars. With over 15 years’ experience, he has been advising a diverse range of domestic and international clients on Irish taxation matters. Before joining Forvis Mazars, he was a tax principal at a specialist advisory practice he co-founded, following an 11-year tenure at EY.
Stephen has advised on all aspects of Irish direct and indirect taxation for both companies and individuals. He has significant experience in areas such as private client services, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, property transactions, funding structures and succession planning.
In addition to his advisory work, Stephen has delivered seminars on current tax issues for the Irish Tax Institute and various accountancy bodies. He is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), a Council member of the Irish Tax Institute and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), chair of the ITI's Tax Administration Committee and current chair of Main TALC on behalf of ITI.

Cormac Golden
Cormac is a Director in KPMG’s tax research and policy team, focusing in particular on EU, OECD and international tax initiatives. He has 11 years of experience in corporate tax and international tax since joining KPMG in 2014. Cormac is one of KPMG’s leads for Pillar Two in Ireland. He has taken a leading role in drafting KPMG’s responses to public consultations on Pillar Two and acts as a representative of the ITI and KPMG at Pillar Two stakeholder meetings with Revenue and the Department of Finance.
Cormac has also spent time on secondment to KPMG’s EU Tax Centre in the Netherlands and Business at OECD (BIAC) in Paris. Prior to joining KPMG’s tax research and policy team, he worked in KPMG’s financial services tax practice, specialising in aviation finance and leasing. He is an Associate of Chartered Accountants Ireland (ACA) and a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).

Feargal Kenzie
Feargal is a Director in Deloitte and has over 20 years’ taxation experience advising a broad range of clients across all sectors. He has extensive experience in dealing with the Revenue Commissioners in all types of Revenue audit and intervention cases. He has specific expertise in assisting taxpayers prepare for a Revenue audit and furnish a qualifying disclosure where appropriate. He also assists taxpayers prepare unprompted qualifying disclosures. In addition, he can manage the engagement process for Revenue audit/intervention cases to include agreeing tax geared penalties.
Feargal also provides tax health checks to taxpayers who wish to consider their tax risk/governance. He is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and an Irish Tax Institute representative at the TALC Audit sub-committee meetings.

Aidan is a Tax Partner in PwC's Tax Risk and Controversy practice, leading the firm's tax risk and Revenue interventions offering. He has more than 20 years’ experience assisting taxpayers through wide-ranging Revenue interventions. Aidan also supports organisations meet their obligations under Revenue's Co-operative Compliance Framework (“CCF”), including developing Tax Control Frameworks and conducting self-reviews.

Patricia is the EMEA Indirect Tax Lead at Kerry and has over 25 years’ experience supporting multinational organisations across complex and evolving VAT landscapes. She advises on go to market initiatives, supply chain transformations, audits, M&A, process improvement, and VAT modernisation, including e invoicing and ViDA. Patricia also oversees VAT compliance and statistical reporting for 50+ entities, covering approximately 1,300 filings annually.
Patricia previously spent 18 years at Microsoft Ireland in a range of indirect tax roles across compliance and advisory, with responsibility for EMEA and APAC. Prior to Kerry, Patricia served as Director, Global Indirect Tax at MongoDB, leading indirect tax across EMEA, APAC, the US, and LATAM in a high growth technology environment.

Dan is the senior director of EMEA Tax Strategy at Eaton Corporation plc. He has served in this role since July 2021. In this capacity he leads and directs a pan-EMEA team of tax professionals who manage the tax strategy and tax compliance matters for the EMEA region. Dan started his career in private practice in 2004 in PwC and he is an FCA qualified accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). He is based in Dublin, Ireland.
