Who is the CTA for?
This programme is for those who aspire to develop a career in Tax Advisory, including
- graduates from all disciplines embarking on their Tax Advisory careers - an accounting or business qualification is not required

Using bespoke materials updated to reflect the most topical tax issues, you are taught to navigate and interpret legislation. Each module is supported by a comprehensive manual.
How will I be assessed?
You are assessed by a combination of online exams and professional skills assignments. There are two exam sittings each year.
Achievement of the CTA qualification is testament to your ability to provide technically correct and commercially sound tax advice.
Entry Requirements
To join the CTA programme, you will need a Level 8 NFQ qualification (Honours degree) or equivalent. Other routes available include recognition of prior learning and mutual recognition.
