Structure of Programme

You can study anywhere in the world with our flexible online study option!

The Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) programme consists of three Parts: each Part consists of four subjects and Professional Skills Workshops.

The course covers not only tax knowledge but also relevant corporate, legal and accounting issues, which underpin, broaden and enhance the skill set of a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).

No training contract is required to qualify as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).

Courses run in Dublin and Cork.  Courses take place at weekends only. This weekend format is popular as students can plan their studies around personal and professional commitments.

Two courses and two examination sittings each year ensure maximum flexibility for students.

Assessment consists of continuous assessment and examinations.
